Xiang Lyu
R&D Associate Staff Scientist
Xiang Lyu is an R&D associate staff scientist for transportation and grid at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Dr. Lyu received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University in 2020. He joined ORNL in 2021 as a postdoc research associate. He has published more than 30 journal articles with more than half as the first author, and he is the recipient of the 2023 UT-Battelle Outstanding Research Output Team Award. Currently, he dedicates his research to water electrolysis under acid, alkaline, and seawater mediums, fuel cells, and electrochemical CO2 reduction reactions. Dr. Lyu has a joint faculty appointment with the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
