
Vaidyanathan M. Sethuraman
Joint Faculty Research
Vaidyanathan M. Sethuraman is a joint research faculty with Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Energy Storage and Conversion Group within the Chemical Sciences Division. Sethuraman is also a University of Tennessee-Oak Ridge Innovation Institute Fellow, working with the institute’s Energy Storage and Transportation Convergent Research Initiative.
Sethuraman’s research focuses on using multiscale computer simulation techniques, numerical and theoretical methods, to understand the fundamental physics of polymers, inorganic materials and complex fluids, for medical and energy applications.
He has previously held postdoctoral research associate positions at the University of Minnesota and ORNL’s Center for Molecular Biology. Before joining the staff at ORNL, Sethuraman was a Computational Scientist at Noze Inc. in Canada.
