Raquel Rust brings 13 years of sponsored programs experience, working with faculty and research administrators on proposal submission, award review and management, and continuing education. Prior to joining UT-ORII, Raquel served as a trainer for the Office of Sponsored Projects at the University of Texas at Austin providing education and training to the campus community on sponsored programs, from cradle to grave. She also provided direct PreAward support to faculty in her capacity within the Office of Sponsored Programs at Texas State University. Raquel has a Masters in Public Administration and is also a Certified Research Administrator. She enjoys spending her time with family, traveling to national parks, and taking care of her dachshunds.
