
Jin Wook Ro
ORNL R&D Associate
Jin Wook Ro is a research and development associate in the Transportation Analytics and Decision Sciences group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He is also a University of Tennessee–Oak Ridge Innovation Institute Fellow, working with the institute’s Energy Storage and Transportation Convergent Research Initiative.
His research focuses on climate change, carbon markets, and life cycle assessment and techno-economic analysis of transportation and energy systems. He also conducts policy analysis related to renewable fuels and energy, including the Renewable Fuel Standard Program, California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and similar policies.
Before joining ORNL, Ro was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Transportation Studies and the Policy Institute for Energy, Environment, and the Economy at the University of California, Davis.
