
E. Bryn Pitt

E. Bryn Pitt is a research and development staff member in Manufacturing Robotics and Controls at the Manufacturing Demonstration Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He is also a University of Tennessee–Oak Ridge Innovation Institute Fellow, working with the institute’s Clean Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Convergent Research Initiative.
Pitt specializes in robotics and control systems engineering, with applications across a range of advanced manufacturing sectors. His current research focuses on overcoming the technological and economic barriers to low-volume, infrastructure-scale manufacturing that hinder the adoption of clean energy technologies.
Before joining ORNL, Pitt worked in private industry, where he focused on human-robot interaction and fail-safe control system design.
