Chris Schmitz is a Lecturer of Science & Technical Communications. She leads a professional writing workshop for students in the SMaRT internship program over the summer. In Fall and Spring semesters, she leads an intensive writing workshop for students pursuing interdisciplinary doctoral degrees through the Bredesen Center. Chris has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Florida, and 25 years of experience in technical writing, content creation, and academic instruction.
