Deadline for proposals: Sept. 15
The University of Tennessee-Oak Ridge Innovation Institute is seeking ideas from UT and Oak Ridge National Laboratory researchers for new Convergent Research Initiatives. Proposed initiatives should represent emerging areas of strength for UT and ORNL, and areas of national and statewide importance.
Each approved convergent research initiative will receive around $20M in direct funding over a five-year period.
Complete submissions must be sent before 5:00pm on September 15, 2023 to utorii@ornl.gov. Late submissions will not be considered.
